SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & ASSET SERVICES

Responsibilities:
The Financial Management and Services group handles NSW Treasury’s core services, including workforce and culture, internal finances, strategy, business performance, IT, facilities management, and communications, in collaboration with the Office of General Counsel.
The IT team maintains the IT infrastructure, leads digital workplace management, and supports applications, records technology, budget systems, cyber security, data analytics, and reporting, ensuring the availability and maintenance of physical and digital facilities.
The Senior Business Analyst (BA) will review and analyse the organisation’s business intentions, services, processes, and information needs to identify improvements. This role involves conducting research, evaluating functional and non-functional requirements, and developing technical and non-technical specifications documentation.
Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is paramount, as is your contribution to improving the delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy with Treasury teams and agency counterparts.
