YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE THAT WILL HELP YOU EXCEL

• BA / MSc in finance or any high-level education with some interference with finance is acceptable (statistics, economics, computer science, mathematics, STEM fields). CFA / FRM is a plus.
• At least 7years of professional work experience
• Fluency in English, strong communication skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively in a result oriented, team-driven organization
• Demonstrated strong interest in the Financial / Capital Markets or data management
• Experience in project work and querying relational databases (Oracle or MS SQL).
• Strong Excel skills while understanding Linux/UNIX will be a plus
• Knowledge of market data vendors, e.g. Reuters a plus
• Experience in Agile framework is a plus

YOUR TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

The Benchmarks & Portfolios team is part of the Data Services and Technology (DST) department that solves complex problems related to all aspects of data operations, extends critical product features by inventing and building analytics capabilities, and provides exceptional service to clients. In partnership with IT, the team is also driving infrastructure projects wherein deep and broad IT literacy is required as such projects span beyond regular enhancements and fixes.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, re-engineer and develop efficient processes to support the daily production of portfolio data
• Monitor and report on global data production processes
• Provide the operations and other functional teams with the comprehensive knowledgebase about finished projects and promoted solutions
• Perform analysis on different databases, vendor’s data with the respect of the purpose of the task
• Create specifications and cooperate with IT on their execution and implementation
• Be involved with internal tool development, data visualization and automatic report generation
• Assist senior management with regular and ad-hoc reporting on client requests, status reports
• Assist our Sales and Client Relations Group in resolving client inquiries related to our content
• Work closely with our global data update teams and global data vendors
• Investigate incidents during benchmark data production
