We are a unit with a significant system role, working across government to take collective action against family violence and sexual violence.
We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy—Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whānau at the heart of everything we do.

TE HAEATA/THE OPPORTUNITY

Te Puna Aonui is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Māori & Community Partnerships group. This role will be a key contributor to regionally focussed application of Te Aorerekura, our cross-agency strategy to eliminate family violence and sexual violence,
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in collecting, analysing, and sharing data insights to inform local, regional and national development. This includes working collaboratively across Te Puna Aonui teams and with community partners to gather insights and learnings that can inform decision making, planning and system improvements. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for improving business processes within the Māori & Community Partnerships group to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Ō PŪKENGA/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a business analyst role.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Expertise in business writing and/or writing for government.
  • Excellent analysis and information presentation skills
  • Experience leading projects or contributing to the delivery of projects.
  • Knowledge of tikanga Māori and experience with the machinery of government.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with others.
