Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our growing team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst, OPL! The Senior Business Analyst will work with Finance User teams across Canada to clarify business needs during national projects or small user queries. The Business Analyst will be involved in projects of different complexities with project managers and business analysts from different IT teams of the company. Effective collaboration will be required to organize and coordinate meetings and workshops to meet the priorities and mandate of the project. You will be challenged to summarize complex topics or meetings, seek consensus and facilitate decisions by proposing strategies and advice to remove blocking elements from the project plan.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Participate in requirements gathering session with business and/or technical experts
  • Collaborate with senior business analysts in working sessions to solve for data flow improvements or updates
  • Support a cross-functional team to document end-to-end solutioning that meets the business requirements
  • Participate in preparation of design documents to executives and IT experts that focuses on how the data will flow and be transformed throughout the finance ecosystem
  • Track progress, list work to be done and meet timelines
  • Support the validation team in preparing test data
  • Perform and support users’ acceptance testing
