We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join Form3’s dynamic Platform Infrastructure team.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Our Product team continues to grow at pace, and we are looking for an ambitious and versatile Business Analyst who has an enthusiasm for technology and can bring their experience to contribute to our portfolio of greenfield products.

Essential skills include:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
  • Strong experience creating functional and non-functional requirements and top-quality specification documents
  • Experience working with private cloud and/or public cloud infrastructure teams
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience building relationships in remote, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to support stakeholders through the full lifecycle, from initiation to implementation
  • Confidently work with the business and external clients to determine requirements for new systems, services, or products
  • Ability to work independently and take the initiative

Desirable

  • Experience working on a cloud-native multi-cloud platform
  • Some technical understanding of cloud connectivity and messaging
  • Understanding of technical risk in the context of a Payments platform

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This is an exciting 13-month maternity cover opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join Form3’s dynamic Platform Infrastructure team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, operations analysts, and financial services customers to tackle complex and rewarding projects.
As a Business Analyst, you will be involved in the full scope of product lifecycle: from writing requirements to defining new strategies; from planning capacity to discussing field definitions; and from drawing out flows to serving as product expertise for internal and external stakeholders. Vitally, you’ll need to be a keen learner and animated about developing your knowledge on the job.
Sometimes you’ll work on projects as a group and other times you’ll be flying solo. We’ll provide you with the freedom to shape and deliver your role in a way that works best for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Liaising with other business lines to gather requirements for new features and change requests
  • Creating internal and customer facing product documentation
  • Assisting the engineers in planning monthly maintenance work
  • Working with the Vendor Management team to create vendor risk profiles
  • Translating customer requirements to relevant engineering specifications
  • Analysing infrastructure costs and producing meaningful costs insights
