REQUIREMENTS
- Strong business analysis experience within a large complex environment
- Previous identity verification experience
- Have experience of working in Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches, with the confidence to advise on the most appropriate approach and to coach other Business Analysts in their use
- Experience working with diverse business stakeholders to influence solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrates a logical approach to problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis
- Must be eligible for SC Clearance
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work for our client within the public sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a fully remote role.
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who has a good understanding of strategic arenas and able to lead large or complex projects. You must be passionate about business analysis, contribute to the development of best practice and lead activities for our client’s community of practice. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be experienced in working with a diverse range of stakeholders. Ideally you will have experience as a coach of others and will be able to support peers and less experienced colleagues to develop their knowledge, confidence and skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaising with policy, business, and technology stakeholders for the delivery of business requirements which form the basis of change to business processes, policies or systems
- Work with stakeholders to understand their perspectives, needs, processes, and constraints to facilitate effective and efficient business process change
- Understand the business processes and activities that impact and that are impacted by the product or service whilst developing an understanding of how the product or service aligns with the wider strategy
- Collaborate with service teams to formulate hypotheses to test in service design phases
- Contribute to agile methodologies across functions, setting standards across the function and ensuring these standards and methodologies are followed
- Work with Service Owners and Delivery Managers to ensure requirements are effectively scoped, split and prioritised
- Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of requirements and user stories for the service
- Understand and analyse the business domain by developing models to articulate the data needs
- Contribute to the definition of success metrics and support mechanisms for monitoring data through the life cycles of services
- Contribute as an experienced practitioner and mentor within the wider Business Analyst community, taking online management responsibilities for BAs
- Play a significant role in recruitment & performance assessment activities
