Senior Business Analyst - Trade Finance

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Trade Finance to lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with package system implementation and creating BRDs and FRDs, combined with a strong understanding of Front, Middle, and Back-Office operations. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and experience in large-scale project implementation.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hands-on experience in package system implementation (CGI preferred).
• Proficiency in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
• Expertise in at least one domain within Trade Finance (Front, Middle, or Back Office).
• Experience in banking as an employee or consultant.
• Experience in project implementation from the user side, with a preference for large-scale projects.

• Willingness to travel within the APAC region to gather requirements and collaborate with teams.
• Acute attention to detail and ability to produce precise, high-quality documentation.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to take on challenges.
• Experience in collecting business requirements and standardizing workflows across entities.

• Planning & Promotion: Validate business requirements using prototyping and use cases.Plan and promote user tasks, including design development, testing, and migration, from a BA’s perspective.
• Management & Reporting: Monitor task progress, conduct issue and risk management, and provide solutions.Offer local insights and feedback to project planning in collaboration with Area PM.Prepare regular reports on regional progress, challenges, and successes for BA leads.
