Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Based in Perth, our Asset Finance team are seeking a Business Development Manager or Senior Business Development Manager to service, retain and grow the current introducer base across Western Australia. The role will seek new business opportunities and increase our introducer base by developing growth strategies and plans. This role will also manage and retain relationships with existing clients through developing an in-depth knowledge of both our products and value proposition. In addition, this role is required to provide customer training including front-end systems, regulatory and compliance training.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL HAVE:
- A minimum of 2 years sales experience within the asset finance industry – consumer and commercial
- Knowledge of the WA asset finance landscape or dealer network
- Strong business acumen and industry awareness
- Proven ability to consistently achieve set targets
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Strong customer service and work ethic
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and be a problem solver
- Drive to succeed, ability to self-manage and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The desire to work collaboratively with stakeholders to generate new business opportunities
- A team player mindset who will add to the existing positive department and company culture
