Responsibilities:

ABOUT ROLE:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, we are currently recruiting for a high-performing Senior Business Development Manager to join our team managing Dell. The core responsibility of this role will see the successful candidate effectively manage the relationship between Ingram Micro and their vendor. Through effectively managing this relationship with the Vendor Manager, the Senior Business Development Manager will ensure that margin and revenue numbers are met, Managing, and growing the channel along with ensuring all forecasting and reporting is maintained, as well as providing mentoring and player/coach responsibilties to the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Business Development Manager is focused on acting as a player/coach with their dedicated team. The Senior Business Development Manager will continue to have an assigned territory of partners to work with and will have oversight across their assigned region and aligned team based on the following areas:

  • Support the team on customer strategic engagement and enablement through the aligned partners within that region. This will include meetings and presentations where applicable
  • Review and work with their aligned team’s financial metrics such as forecasting and pipeline management
  • Continue to build and support the team with vendor management
  • Build and drive initiatives in conjunction with the Business Unit on key sales GTM strategies which also align to rebate metrics
  • Provide regular performance evaluations, feedback and coaching to team members to foster continuous improvement
  • Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets to support the company’s growth objectives.
  • Regularly engage with partners to expand our product portfolio and build strong, enduring relationships with both existing and new partners.
  • Effectively manage and nurture the relationship between Ingram Micro and Dell
  • Collaborate closely with the Vendor Manager to ensure the achievement of margin and revenue targets.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that sales revenue and profitability metrics are met.
  • Assist in executing quarterly marketing plans and work hand in hand with the Ingram Micro sales team to maximize brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with the Vendor Manager and support associates to ensure the continued success of the portfolio.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and forecasting to help guide decision-making.
