Description:

We’re looking for a motivated and driven Senior Business Development Manager who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.
You will be part of central team in Bucharest office, leading for Romania, Bulgaria and Greece bus markets. You will collaborate closely with your international peers and, in particular, with your counterparts in Berlin, Munich, Milano, Budapest, Sofia and Zagreb offices.
You will have the possibility to work flexibly, goal-oriented, and independently in an experienced and professional team. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to participate in revolutionizing the Eastern European mobility market, particularly the Romanian inter-city bus market, while developing and implementing your own ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • You report to the Head of Business Development and work cross functionally with teams in and outside Romania including Operations, Network Planning, Pricing, Authorizations and Finance in their joint work with the Business Development team
  • You will identify, negotiate, and acquire new bus operators to partner with Flix, establishing long-term relationships based in trust, developing long-term business plans
  • You act as the point of contact for our bus partners in Romania and lead regular business reviews with them discussing and finding consensus for all business, financial and operational topics.
  • You conduct contractual negotiations that ensure a win-win situation between FlixBus and the bus partners
  • You analyze KPIs, market trends and competitors’ activities, recognize problems by interpreting them, and derive suitable recommendations for action
  • You closely interact with colleagues from other departments: Operations, Marketing, Network Planning and Pricing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Bus Fleet Owners, Bus OEMs, Bus Body Builders etc, and industry associations
  • You will play an integral part in our journey to revolutionize the mobility market in Central and Eastern Europe
