Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Senior Business Development Manager in the Global Retail Sales Team, your core responsibility is to acquire, manage and develop partnerships with some of the largest retailers across the globe, ensuring JET delivers a winning proposition to its consumers. Next to closing new partnerships you drive the development of the category consumer proposition working cross functionally with Tech, Marketing, Compliance and Logistics teams unlocking market leadership in your verticals.
You are a confident storyteller, with a strong track record in sales. You possess a high level of energy, which can be used to motivate and influence multiple stakeholders towards making change. You are genuinely passionate about the future of on-demand retail and excited about building something from the ground up.

THESE ARE SOME OF THE KEY INGREDIENTS TO THE ROLE:

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy of your retail category through International Partnerships and cross-functional capabilities;
  • P&L responsibility for your global verticals, with a clear growth plan;
  • Work closely with the local Heads of Retail of 15 Markets to drive your strategy into action with executional excellence;
  • Represent JET at industry events with superior networking skills;
  • Carefully manage a senior set of stakeholders across a Matrix-led organisation;
  • Engage JET functions such as tech, marketing, operations and logistics to develop company capabilities improving the shopping and selling experience within your vertical.
