Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ experience working with small business owners and/or Commercial Banking customers, C-suite executives and middle management
  • Product, Software, or User Acceptance testing experience
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
  • Proven initiative demonstrated by meeting deadlines and leading by example in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experience building relationships and communicating effectively with business partners across a matrixed organization
  • Experience working with business valuation tools, such as BizEquity, Equidam, Principal, Quist Valuation, or Valusource
  • Demonstrated ability to write product requirements and content in the financial industr

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Growth Strategy Consultant on the Enterprise Advice and Planning team. This position will be the financial planning subject matter expert responsible for writing requirements for and validating planning tools, features and other software designed to serve the needs of individual and business owner customers in Small Business and Commercial Bank. In this role, you will:

  • Performs validation, inspection, testing and measuring of business planning and/or business valuation tools
  • Advice subject matter expert qualified to offer knowledge, strategy, and guidance for businesses/business owner financial planning content development
  • Collaborate, consult and strategically engage with key stakeholders in Small Business and Commercial Bank to develop an Advice and Planning Product Feedback Loop
  • Ideate, strategize and execute along with key stakeholders on financial planning product and software requirements in Small Business and Commercial Bank to ensure an enterprise mandate of providing scalable advice, cross-line of business
  • Lead or participate in planning and execution of Business Growth Strategy activities and projects that directly support or assist in implementation and optimization of efforts for growth opportunities in the Small Business and Commerical line of business
  • Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies within Advice & Planning
  • Collaborate and consult with Advice & Planning colleagues, stakeholders, and line of business leaders
