ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst ready to help accelerate our adoption of Power BI and Azure Data and Analytics platform. You will initially be responsible for guiding the business in the use of Power BI as our preferred Business Intelligence application. Ongoing you will work with the business and the Data and Analytics Team to develop Power BI solutions including flexible data models and reports that support self-service analytics and deliver actionable insights to guide business decisions. You will also play an important role in the uplift of Data Literacy across the organisation and the implementation of our Data Governance framework as we transition to an Azure Data and Analytics platform.

You’re passionate about delivering amazing service to our teammates both within the Data and Analytics team and across the organisation. You work with a collaborative mindset ready to support data users of all levels improve their data literacy and adopt new platforms and technology.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or Computer Science is required
• Substantial experience in data analytics or a related field
• Strong proficiency in programming languages and environments such as SQL, Spark and Python
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Power BI and other Data Visualisation Tools
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, in particular the data and AI Resources
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Azure Dev Ops and Git
• Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis
• Sound planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• The ability to communicate with personnel at all levels along with a genuine ability and desire to provide exceptional customer service
