Description:

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Alteryx, Python ,DAX, Power Query M, SQL, VBA, SAP, TeamCenter.
  • Experience working with large datasets to extract meaningful analysis and information.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain or Engineering.
  • Experience in development of business applications and business intelligence reports.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Word and other MS Office tools.
  • Must have strong communication skills and be process-oriented and results driven.
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and PLM software.
  • Lean, continuous improvement, or six sigma knowledge.
  • Strong project management skills.

    The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Intelligence & Digital Transformation team within the Aerostructures business unit onsite in Chula Vista. You will be part of a team of experts with in-depth knowledge of advanced data analytics, process automation, and business applications. This team is responsible for the development and deployment of digital solutions, covering data science & analytics, process automation, and reporting for organizations across the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop processes and methods for collecting, storing, and analyzing data (including machine learning) from business operations or other activities to optimize performance.
  • Work with various teams to deliver data, dashboards, and insightful, performance-optimized analysis to facilitate business decisions.
  • Design and illustrate critical metrics to help guide operations in effective business management.
  • Develop business applications and CI tools to collect data and automate business processes, involving teams across the business in alignment with lean methodology (CORE).
  • Identify trends, highlight areas of opportunity for operational performance enhancements, and create presentations to convey analysis to influence strategic decisions.
  • Work with multiple large datasets, parsing them as required for analysis, and documenting the processes and reasoning for each dataset.
  • Regularly interact and interface with internal customers and stakeholders to ensure the successful development and deployment of digital solutions.
  • Travel up to 10%, international and domestic.
