ABOUT YOU | E PĀ ANA KI A KOE:

We’re seeking a qualified professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification, ideally a Chartered Accountant. You’ll bring at least 5 years of senior accounting experience, along with excellent leadership skills.

Ideally candidates will have:

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Sound understanding of tikanga Māori and its relevance to Council functions
