As a Business Partner on Pomerleau’s Talent, Culture & Leadership team, you will play a pivotal role with executives and employees in helping to achieve strategic objectives from a human perspective, acting as a catalyst for talent programs, organizational values and culture. Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Works closely with Pomerleau management, senior executives and other managers to implement Talent, Culture and Leadership (TCL);
- Supports managers in the growth, management and development of their teams;
- Contributes to the realization of strategic initiatives and implements transformation activities that have a lasting impact on our managers and employees;
- Builds a trusting relationship with executives to understand corporate strategy and translate it into meaningful TCL activities;
- Provides consultative support on complex labor and employee relations issues, and encourages communication between managers and employees;
- Analyzes, proposes and presents key performance indicators to report to management teams on progress and support required for success;
- Works closely with all TCL Group business partners to ensure a strong service offering and maximize the sharing of best practices;
- Takes personal responsibility for the recruitment of certain senior and management positions.
THIS ROLE COULD BE FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE
- At least 8 years’ experience in human resources/business partnering;
- An advanced degree or diploma in human resources or equivalent training;
- A reputation for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Excellent ability to drive initiatives and navigate ambiguity;
- Demonstrated leadership and influence;
- Strong organizational skills, work planning and ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment;
- Strong written and oral communication skills and a very good level of English.
