QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or Business Administration with four to seven years of systems administration experience, with significant exposure to Finance reporting & budget
  • Experience with SAP BPC, SAP BW embedded models, SAP HANA modelling or SAP Analysis for Office.
  • Strong grasp of Finance functions and business process operations.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA modules: Finance, Controlling, Fund Management, Grant Management, Budget, Payroll
  • Migration experience to SAP Analytic Cloud is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience or training with BI tools such as Power BI, Excel VBA, Qlik, SAP S4 HANA, SAP BW, S/4HANA analytics and Fiori.
  • Familiarity with project management or software development lifecycle tools such as Jira.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, knowledge sharing, and outcome-driven.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of motivating teams in challenging circumstances.
  • Good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken and written English, Basic knowledge (Level 3) of spoken French.
  • Knowledge of other SAP solutions such as SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP SuccessFactors is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) and BW (Business Warehouse) reporting objects including input templates, data models, data accuracy, data extraction and data conversion.
  • Oversee the entire reporting & budget input lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports and dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the performance of SAP BPC and BW reports, implementing enhancements to improve query response times and data processing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure the integrity, accuracy, security, and compliance of data used in SAP BPC and BW reports. Implement data integration strategies to streamline data flow from source systems to reporting environments.
  • Provide training and support to end users on SAP BPC and BW reporting tools and functionalities. Address user inquiries and troubleshoot issues to ensure a seamless reporting experience.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the functionality, usability, and performance of SAP BPC and BW reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and other business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and priorities.
  • Manage change requests and system enhancements related to SAP BPC and BW reporting solutions. Coordinate with stakeholders to assess the impact of changes and help implement effective change management processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for SAP BPC and BW reporting solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and training material; facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to transfer expertise to team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to other team members, fostering their professional growth and development in this area.
