Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Business Process and Operations Analyst with a strong background in process improvement and operational excellence within the DoD. The candidate will work onsite at the Pentagon and will require a high level of clearance and an understanding of the complexities associated with DoD operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement continuous process improvement strategies within the context of DoD operations and readiness.
  • Conduct comprehensive business process analysis, including gap analysis, benchmarking against DoD best practices, and organizational assessments.
  • Design future state processes with a focus on enhancing operational readiness and ensuring compliance with DoD standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders within the Pentagon and other DoD entities to ensure that process improvements are integrated effectively.
  • Oversee quality programs and ensure conformity with DoD policies, performance standards, and guidelines.
  • Provide guidance on compliance with DoD regulations and agency guidelines.
  • Interface with technology teams to ascertain system requirements that meet DoD operational needs.
  • Engage with clients and deliver briefings to high-level DoD personnel and stakeholders.
  • Conduct training on process improvement methodologies relevant to DoD readiness.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and fourteen (14) years of experience with systems engineering and product development.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 14 years of experience within DoD / operations, with a focus on process improvement and operational readiness.
  • Strong understanding of DoD regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record in leading organizational change and implementing process improvements within a DoD setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in preparing and presenting briefings to senior DoD officials.
  • Ability to perform complex analyses and provide innovative solutions to ensure the advancement of DoD readiness objectives.
    Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
    SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
    Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site
