Vivienne Westwood is looking for a Senior Buyer to join the Buying Team in the Conduit Street Office on a Full time basis.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and order management systems.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for sales and competitor analysis.
  • Knowledge of delivery windows, sale dates, and event launches.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Buyer/Buyer in Bags, Small Leather Goods, and Accessories.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

Maximize sales and profit by driving business performance. Manage Bags and SLGs buying, oversee accessory lines, support the Head of Buying (HOB), and develop the buying team (Junior Buyers, Assistant Buyer, and Buyers Admin Assistant).

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare seasonal budgets and schedules; draft and finalize orders with HOB.
  • Manage orders from creation to updates, ensuring accuracy.
  • Support HOB with analysis, reports, and meeting preparation.
  • Monitor sales, stock, and performance; suggest initiatives to maximize sales.
  • Collaborate with merchandisers and designers to create balanced, market-aligned ranges.
  • Develop and support team members; delegate tasks effectively.
  • Ensure timely communication and resolution of discrepancies across teams.
  • Oversee deliveries, e-commerce uploads, and online merchandising.
  • Organize shop visits, gather customer feedback, and identify in-store opportunities.
  • Maintain competitor awareness and inform strategy with market insights.
  • Ensure accurate minutes and follow-ups from meetings.
