We are looking for a highly skilled Senior CAD Designer to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced experience with SolidWorks is required.
- SolidWorks expertise should include creating 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing and project engineering settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling using SolidWorks and other CAD tools such as AutoDesk (Inventor, AutoCAD).
- Expert knowledge of layer management, drawing scales, cross-sections, profiles, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Capable of generating models and layout drawings from sketches and specifications.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to translate creative concepts into detailed drawings.
- Design and update installation drawings for projects.
- Create models, assembly, manufacturing, and 3D layout drawings using SolidWorks.
- Establish guidelines and procedures for CAD data management.
- Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes.
- Maintain detailed notes, design calculations, and documentation for completed drawings.
- Implement design requirements on drawings sent to customers.
- Develop detailed manufacturing instructions, specification sheets, and other relevant documentation.
