Job Description
As a senior member of our team, you will actively participate in, and contribute to, all technical aspects of small to major transmission and distribution projects, utilising your high attention to detail to design, review and verify drawings.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU?

We are looking for someone who is naturally passionate about technical design who can demonstrate the following:

  • Completed Engineering (NZCE) / CAD diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ electrical design experience with good knowledge of drawing practices
  • Self-motivated, solutions focused and enthusiastic to learn and progress career
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D; intermediate Microsoft Office skills, Revit knowledge would be advantageous
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with engineers to obtain precise information about work scope
  • Producing engineering design drawings for a range of clients in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Delivering designs for primary and secondary projects ranging from substations, transmission lines to underground cable designs
  • Assisting with bid preparation where required.
