Looking to speak with Senior CAD Technicians or Digital Designer who are looking for a new challenge, interested in working with a progressive and growing engineering consultancy who were winners of ‘Best Place to Work’ and ‘International Consulting Firm of the Year’ at the recent New Civil Engineers (NCE) Awards in 2024?
The opportunity for a Senior CAD Technician to join their team - specialising in major projects within the water sector. This role can be based from either Bristol or Exeter offices with hybrid working allowing for a mix of in-office and home-working (usual pattern for full time employees is 3 days in office / 2 days from home).
As a Senior CAD Technician you will work as part of the well respected Digital Design team - working alongside highly skilled Technicians and Engineers to deliver some of the most technically complex and exciting major projects across the Water sector. You will be working with a variety of 3D and 2D software – including Civil 3D and Revit – and will offer mentoring and training to more junior colleagues on how to most effectively use CAD software.
Responsibilities:
Preparing project drawings and BIM models, understanding, interpreting, and implementing local client CAD standards and BIM data requirements.
Collaborating with engineers, consultants and technicians from multiple disciplines.
Responsible for managing regional workload plans; establishing and maintaining delivery deadlines
Developing and mentoring local Digital Design teams
Working within Common Data Environments
