Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO
As a Senior Calculation Engineer, you will be at the forefront of advanced calculations, structural analysis, and mechanical design for our SMR projects. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that your calculations and designs are integrated into high-performance, safe, and compliant systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform advanced calculations and simulations related to structural mechanics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics in SMR systems.
- Lead verification and validation of mechanical systems using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other advanced simulation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in mechanical, nuclear, and systems engineering to optimize designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, particularly in nuclear power and heavy industrial applications.
- Document and present your analysis to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support research and development initiatives aimed at enhancing the performance and safety of SMR systems.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in thermal, structural, or mechanical engineering, with a focus on advanced calculations and simulations.
- Extensive experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and tools like ANSYS (used today), ABAQUS, or similar.
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics, fatigue design, and industry standards such as ASME and EUROCODE.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Fluency in Swedish is a plu
