Description:
As the Senior Campus Construction Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be accountable for leading and managing a team of internal and external stakeholders to deliver Hyperscale Data Center, Retail Data Center and Infrastructure projects at our Berlin 3 site. The position requires a self-motivated, construction leader who will lead a dedicated team of internal and external professionals to deliver industry leading Data Center construction, infrastructure and fit out projects at dedicated sites of the respective Data Center hub.
BER3 is a larger project at 96MW. The role is predominantly site based with some flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for strategic planning and execution of NTT Data Centre construction, fit out, infrastructure projects, at the respective site(s)
- Manage, develop and coach a team of internal and external Construction Managers, Project Managers and Design Managers, and General/Sub-Contractors
- Develop and foster a strong sense of ownership within the project delivery team and NTT GDC peer stakeholders to drive and maintain industry best practice standards across the campus
- Collaborate with peers in the NTT EHS and Security Organization to implement industry best practice Health, Safety and Security standards onsite
- Govern, measure and if required correct project performance against key performance indicators and commitments across Safety, Schedule, Quality and Cost targets
- Manage the coordination between multiple General Contractors, OFCI vendors, Operations, utility providers, 3rd party works and the public where necessary
- Perform general Construction management tasks, including but not limited to Project, Cost and change management meetings, controls, and reporting
- Provide single point of contact for project/campus development and delivery
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of project status to the Regional Construction Director and wider business
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that arise during the course of the projects
