Pivot Path Solutions is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Capture and Proposal Manager to join our team. The Senior Capture/Proposal Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire proposal development process, from initial capture planning to final submission. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, meticulous capture management, and exceptional writing skills to produce high-quality, compelling proposals that win new business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in proposal writing in the federal contracting space. This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to visit the corporate office in Northern Virginia on a monthly basis or as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in proposal writing and management in the federal contracting industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing and winning proposals, particularly those of significant size and complexity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Salesforce, or similar platforms).
- Knowledge of proposal best practices and methodologies (e.g., Shipley, APMP) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
