Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Cardiographer to join our friendly team, providing high standards of care and support to patients at The Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We offer a comprehensive range of cardiac investigations including pacemaker implant and follow up, exercise tests and ambulatory monitoring fitting and analysis, Thallium exercise. AH rehabilitation exercise programmes. Our echo department delivers both simple transthoracic echocardiography and a range of complex echocardiography techniques such as transoesophageal, contrast, dobutamine and exercise stress echocardiography. In addition, the department delivers a range of diagnostic clinics such as echo surveillance clinics, chest pain assessment clinics. Provides ECG service for GP’s, In and outpatient ECG support on both Adults and Paediatrics throughout the Trust. Ambulatory monitoring for ECG and BP. Also analysis of ambulatory monitors.

To communicate, as appropriate, with patients, staff and other concerned parties, to ensure best quality service delivery in terms of patient satisfaction, efficiency and effectiveness.
Working throughout the Trust in accordance with national protocols to provide 12 lead Electrocardiography (ECG) , Ambulatory ECG and BP recording services.
Support the Cardiac Physiologists in patient care, preparation and performance of other investigations
Care for and maintain Cardiac Diagnostic equipment and maintain accurate records of work undertaken, occasionally undertake general clerical duties
