SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Educated to third level business qualification not required, but beneficial
• Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data sorting/filtering
• Proven experience as a Cash Allocation Specialist or similar role
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume payment posting environment
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve payment discrepancies and balance-related issues
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with internal teams
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in an organized manner
• Ability to handle high volumes of transactions with accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure, prioritizing workload to meet strict deadline

• Post and apply multi-currency customer receipts to customer accounts daily, investigate and resolve customer allocation queries in a timely manner.
• Conduct through analysis to identify and resolve payment discrepancies
• Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for applying customer’s payments
• Resolve cash posting issues working cross functionally to resolve any issues
• Participating in department calls
• Documentation and maintenance of team processes and procedures
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other team members
• Managing a shared mailbox, receiving a wide variety of requests and queries
• Be proactive and innovative with ideas to improve service and internal processes
• Participate in adhoc projects
• Implement and enhance cash allocation strategies to optimize efficiency
• Cooperating with internal database developers to resolve technical issues with a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
• Meet tight deadlines while managing a high volume of payment postings with accuracy and efficiency
