Job Description
Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY
For the 12 month fixed term, the role holder will be responsible for the end-to-end Category Management including Strategy and Planning, Governance, Strategic Sourcing, Key Suppliers, Stakeholder Engagement and Business Partnership, ensuring full accountability for stakeholders’ experience and contribution to building Europe Sourcing team positive brand.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop the Category in Media, Content & Production, and Corporate Communication to support business objectives.
- Guide and mentor the Category support and more junior members of the team.
- Act as a Sourcing Business Partner to Marketing teams in the UK and Europe, ensuring end-to-end accountability.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Design and execute Category strategies, plans, and projects.
- Deliver financial and other business values through leading practices.
- Embed CSR, Sustainability, and Supplier Diversity objectives.
- Drive continuous improvements and support digitalization.
- Support and nurture future talent within the Visa Europe Sourcing team.
- Understand Marketing strategies, plans, and priorities.
- Manage Category spend, supplier relationships, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Supplier Relationship Management team to drive SRM & ESG initiatives.
- Develop and execute Sourcing strategies and initiatives (RFx).
- Ensure regional and local engagement in sourcing projects.
- Develop and maintain Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL) and manage Tail spend.
- Collaborate with Legal teams to build contract templates.
- Report on Category progress and performance using key metrics.
