SENIOR CATEGORY MANAGER (MARKETING)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Category Manager to join our busy procurement team which is going from strength to strength. This is a critical role that is rapidly transforming and executing a new strategy and Operating model under a new leader. You’ll be responsible for commercial leadership of the marketing supply categories. You’ll be securing exceptional commercial outcomes with Tier 1 suppliers and overseeing the Vendor Management Framework You’ll act as a Business Partner to Directors and Contract Owners, providing advice and guidance for Procurement and supplier-related matters. In addition, you’ll support the Procurement Transformation programme. This is a role for an experienced Procurement professional, ready to drive change and be part of a dynamic, strengthening team. Location: King’s Cross, London. Hybrid working applies with 3 days in the office minimum.
WHERE DO YOU FIT IN?
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Procurement, your role will be to negotiate exceptional supply contracts, to maximise value. You’ll create and deliver against ambitious Category Plans for area of responsibility, identifying opportunities to deliver savings, increase value, improve service outcomes and manage risk, working in partnership with key stakeholders. You’ll be working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure business needs are secured from our contractual engagements. You’ll drive contract completion, taking a proportionate approach to managing risk and liaising with Legal, Data Privacy, Infosec and Finance to assure strong contracts. Additionally, you’ll play a key part in training other team members as and when necessary to aid in their development. Are you somebody ready to impress and progress?
