Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Central Plant Operator to support our business in Springfield, VA. This organization supports mission critical government programs.
The candidate will be assigned to an Operations Team working 12 hour rotating shifts; nights and days at our Centralized Plant. The current Dupont schedule allows candidates 7 days off in a row on a monthly basis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Ability to lift 35 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Experience maintaining and repairing Central Plant Equipment
  • Capable of working a rotating shift

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience using FMCS systems; Siemens, SCADA, Trane Tracer
  • Experience with UPS power systems
  • Experience with Backup Generator plants

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years’ related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Central Plant equipment via building management systems
  • Trouble shoot and repair mechanical, electrical, life safety systems
  • Perform equipment rounds to ensure equipment is operating and designed efficiency
