We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Sea Containers London. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the preparation and presentation of our menu, working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to maintain the high standards of our renowned dining offerings. Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Lead the preparation and presentation of dishes within your designated section, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to the hotel’s culinary standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure the team operates efficiently and to the best of their abilities.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the development of new dishes and menus, contributing creative ideas and feedback.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in your section, following all health and safety regulations.
  • Stock Management: Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to ensure cost-effective kitchen operations.
  • Training & Development: Actively participate in the training and development of junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Service Excellence: Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service, particularly during busy periods and special events.

Salary: £37,174 p/a plus tronc
