Senior Civil Engineer - Power Plant - Site Role

Support Client in supervising the EPCM Contractor at Site for a Simple Cycle Power Plant.
Daily liaison with Client and EPCM Contractor on civil matters.
Review and approve drawings, specifications, and documentation for civil engineering projects.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project progress and quality.
Resolve issues arising during the construction of civil engineering projects.
Maintain and record civil engineering drawings and specifications.
Review Contractors’ daily construction reports.
Maintain the interface between Employer, EPCM Contractor Site Supervision Team, and Employer’s engineering follow-up team.
Participate in the Site QA/QC function to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Perform progress measurement and analyze reports submitted by the EPCM and Executing Companies.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Strong design and analytical skills, problem-solving ability, good communication skills, familiarity with design software packages, international codes and standards, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in EPC Projects, with at least 5 years in a site-based role, brownfield power plant construction experience, consultancy experience of at least 4 years, GCC/UAE experience.
Academic Education to BS or equivalent level minimum in Civil Engineering from an accredited University, postgraduate degree will be an advantage, degree certificate attestation by MOFA is required.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
