Job Description

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Civil Engineering degree qualified
  • Experience delivering detailed outlines and designs of potable water/wastewater infrastructure
  • Experience of leading project teams in line with agreed scope, fee and programme
  • Provide mentoring, guidance and technical advice to support and supervise junior staff
  • Flexible to travel to other AECOM and client offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee: Lead the civil design of projects and mentor junior staff members, reviewing and feeding back on their work.
  • Provide Expertise: Produce technical specifications and calculations by hand or using current computer software. Help determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for projects and then manage and monitor this throughout the project.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with clients and other multidisciplinary teams at AECOM to ensure clear understanding of deliverables and responsibilities.
  • Safety: Take ownership of aspects of project safety that are within your control, such as carrying out Safety in Design practices and ensuring any out of office work has been appropriately planned and risk assessed
