Overview:
We are recruiting for a Senior Claims Technician to join our team in Chelmsford.
You will play a crucial role in representing the best interests of our company and clients. You will provide expert advice and services on claims issues, liaise with insurers, and manage the entire claims process from start to finish.
Your expertise will help shape the strategic and operational aspects of claims management, ensuring our clients receive the best possible service.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Provide expert technical advice on complex claims with empathy and professionalism, effectively managing client expectations concerning the claims process, timelines, policy details, and legal liability and quantum
- Oversee claims from receipt to resolution, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring complete satisfaction
- Ensure accurate data management and compliance with industry standards
- Comply with Gallagher Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for role with specific attention to Treating Customers Fairly and Consumer Duty
- Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business
About you:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in insurance, claims processing, and FCA regulation
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- A proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and Acturis is advantagous
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Eligiblity to work in the UK
