Description:

SENIOR CLERK – SEA EQUIPMENT

The Senior Clerk – SEA equipment is responsible for providing support to the Principal(s) of Special Education and the Special Education Team. The Senior Clerk coordinates all aspects of SEA equipment including applications, sourcing, ordering equipment, and maintaining various databases regarding the equipment. Duties also include researching, ordering and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required : Advanced skills in various software applications, e.g. MS Office including excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred : Knowledge of Simcoe County District School Board Policies and Administrative Procedures Memoranda, and Numbered Memoranda. Demonstrated knowledge of board approved software, e.g. SCARRI, SchoolCash.net, JD Edwards, PowerSchool student information system. Knowledge of basic office procedures. Previous experience working in a school environment.
Testing may be required during the selection process.
