Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Drive Sales Growth: Drive business development efforts by actively hunting for new clients and leveraging your network and/or experience in the region to unlock growth opportunities
- Manage Key Accounts: Build and nurture long-term partnerships, leveraging upsell and cross-sell opportunities within major accounts
- Develop Strategic Plans: Create and execute tailored account strategies, providing tools and resources to optimize performance
- Lead Enterprise Sales: Manage complex sales engagements, focusing on both new business (hunting) and expanding current accounts (farming) across LATAM’s major markets
- Optimize Sales Strategy: Implement data-driven strategies to streamline sales cycles (targeting under 60 days) and improve efficiency
- Apply Industry Expertise: Use your market research to consult clients and provide tailored solutions
- Negotiate & Present: Present complex ideas clearly and negotiate large deals, addressing challenges effectively
- Leverage Data: Use CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) to track pipelines and make data-informed sales decisions
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF
- You have 10+ years of proven senior sales experience in Market Research, actively consulting clients from diverse industries
- You have demonstrated ability to successfully acquire new clients, particularly in the LATAM region, and develop relationships from initial contact to closing (experience in Enterprise selling)
- You have a strong network in LATAM, especially within major economies like Mexico or Colombia, and are skilled at building and managing relationships in this region
- You have an in-depth understanding of the market research industry and familiarity with research methodologies, tools, and platforms (experience with AI-powered solutions is a plus)
- You have experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for tracking pipelines, opportunities, and performance metrics
- You have the ability to think and act like an entrepreneur, identifying opportunities, and taking ownership of initiatives
- You have a proactive and solution-oriented approach especially in challenging situations, to drive success
- You have the ability to clearly present complex ideas and negotiate large deals effectively while establishing key relationships and strategies
- You are proficient in Spanish and English (Portuguese would be a plus)
- You are based in Mexico or Colombia
