A Day in the Life
We are looking for an individual with a passion for patient safety and quality in data analysis. This position supports our OUS TAVI field sales/clinical team to ensure correct patient selection of potential candidates who seek implantation of our transcatheter aortic valve device, and a procedure known as (TAVI). Patient suitability is based on the interpretation, analysis, and measurements of a cardiac multi-slice CT scan. The ideal candidate would have a background in imaging in either echocardiography or cardiac CT with a strong knowledge in cardiac anatomy and aortic stenosis.
We offer you an exciting opportunity to join our Global Imaging Services Team as a Senior Clinical Analyst. This team is part of our Structural Heart division and supports transcatheter therapies for TAVI, imaging training and education needs, as well as patient selection in both commercial and trial settings. Your role would be to review CT scans performing a variety of measurements to confirm anatomical suitability for our Evolut TAVR device. In order to perform all measurements, a 3D CT reconstructive software is used to perform a variety of measurements and capture images to create a comprehensive report for customers. Given the unique nature of this job, you will be given the tools you need through a robust imaging training program. You will work closely with your trainer and other Clinical Analyst on the TAVI team who will educate you in a step by step manner so that all aspects of sizing and pre-case planning are thoroughly learned and mastered.

You will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing CT scans and performing a variety of measurements to confirm anatomical suitability for our Evolut TAVR device.
  • Using a 3D CT reconstructive software to perform a variety of measurements and capture images to create a comprehensive report for customers.
  • Utilizing strong written and verbal English language skills in order to communicate effectively with field reps as well as customers to support a variety of geographies across several time zones.
  • Participating in the training and education of the field staff to ensure they are well versed in our patient selection and sizing methods.
  • Using your good organizational skills to manage the detailed nature of the role.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of imaging experience with a background in cardiac CT or Echocardio
  • Good clinical knowledge of cardiac anatomy and disease states
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel
  • Credentialing through appropriate European societies for CT or Echo
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented and focused on quality

Nice to Haves

  • Working knowledge of CT 3D imaging software such as 3Mensio, Circle, Tera Recon, Vital, Q-Lab
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excell, and familiarity with Outlook
  • Experience with adult learning/training and education, and strong presentation skills
