Description:
As the Senior Clinical Data Scientist, you will partner with a broad range of stakeholders across the organization. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data that will drive critical growth decisions and positive outcomes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in health economics, health service research, data science, epidemiology, public health or a closely related field
- 5+ years conducting comprehensive data analysis and research studies
- 3+ years of relevant experience within a healthcare / health technology settingPublication track record in clinical field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD
- 5+ years of experience leading data science strategy in a healthcare or health technology setting
- 3+ years of health economics and outcomes research experience
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Strong communication skills, including executive presence

Responsibilities:
- Define and demonstrate clinical, operational and financial excellence of Best Buy Health products and services
- Lead collaborative relationships with external partners and conduct analyses to produce peer-reviewed scientific evidence about the economic value and return on investment for care at home programs
- Identify data sources, gaps in data, and metrics of value, considerations for preprocessing data, and potential internal improvements
- Maintain industry knowledge to support Best Buy Health as a subject matter expert and ensure we are considering the latest trends in data and clinical research (e.g. experimental design, HEOR methodologies)
- Contribute and demonstrate knowledge of ‘bread and butter’ data science techniques within, and outside of, the team
