Description:

This post would be suitable for individuals who are seeking a career as a specialist foot and ankle surgeon, should have at least 6 years experience at SPR level in Trauma and Orthopaedics including at least 12 months experience in the subspecialty of foot and ankle and are approaching or have achieved the CCT. Possession of the FRCS(Orth) or equivalent and full GMC registration are essential. The post will have a fixed-term tenure of 12 months.The post offersexposure to Foot & Ankle surgery from basic to complex including instruction in the management of a wide spectrum of foot and ankle disorders, arthroscopic procedures, minimally invasive procedures, arthrodesis, forefoot reconstructions, diabetic /Charcot reconstruction, trauma and post- trauma reconstruction. Duties will include delivering care for patients under the care of the Foot and Ankle Consultants and team, providing support to foundation and core training doctors, surgical scrub practitioner, allied F&A health professionals and receiving support and training from Consultant staff
