Join our Core Personnel Technology division in our Cloud Product house where you will have the opportunity to lead and optimise the enablement and delivery of cloud services, ensuring that they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the strategic needs of Macquarie Group and its business units.

What role will you play?
In this key role, you will collaborate with the Director of Cloud Engineer and manage all aspects of your technology platform. You will be responsible for driving the enablement, adoption, and optimisation of cloud services across the organisation. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that leverage cloud technologies to achieve business objectives.
You will need to champion the adoption of new cloud technologies and lead a team of Cloud Engineers to achieve the company’s technological objectives. This position demands exceptional leadership and technical expertise. In addition, you will be responsible for executing a comprehensive cloud service enablement strategy that aligns with the organisation’s goals and objectives.

What you offer

  • 8-10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a cloud-related role
  • Champion and enhance cloud services enablement and delivery process
  • Proven experience in managing cloud services and leading technical teams.
  • In depth understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), cloud architecture, and cloud security
  • Experience in cloud automation and orchestration tools
  • Experience with setting metrics and KPIs to measure the performance and effectiveness of cloud services
  • Experience of working collaboratively with Architecture, Engineering and Cloud Product House leaders to ensure the seamless integration of cloud services into cloud operations
  • Certifications Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
