YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Significant operational experience with AWS cloud infrastructure in an enterprise setting, including the Well-Architected Framework.
• Proficiency in handling AWS accounts, IAM, and configuration of SSO for enterprise apps using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory).
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation, CDK, HashiCorp Terraform, and modularization of IaC.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and a general programming or scripting language (Python, TypeScript, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (we use Azure DevOps), container applications, and secure system deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate findings effectively.
• Fluency in English
• Curiosity and a drive for experimentation.
• Willingness to drive the adoption of new technologies with an overview of cost, maintenance, and ecosystem impact.
• Nice to have if you have experience with Snowflake, Azure or DBT (Data Build Tool)

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will provide expertise in the design, deployment, and operation of scalable infrastructure for software applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Primary ownership of the AWS cloud operational environment, continuously optimizing performance and establishing best practices.
• Defining and documenting secure and best practices for application deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company compliance and IT security policies.
• Ensuring application performance, uptime, and scalability.
• Collaborating with data scientists, data engineers, and software developers to implement robust, scalable cloud-based solutions.
• Designing and implementing automation scripts to streamline cloud-based processes.
• Providing technical support and architectural advisory for existing and new cloud-based systems.
• Participating in all aspects of the software development life cycle in line with agile methodologies.
