Description:
CreateFuture is fast becoming the UK’s most recognisable digital consultancy, with years of experience building digital products and services for major organisations whilst putting our people first. We have offices in the centre of Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, and London as well as remote employees located throughout the country.
We are a team of creators - whether that’s code, project plans, go to market strategies, culture initiatives, marketing campaigns, large language models or people policies. And together, with our clients, we create the future. This has seen us collaborate and partner across a multitude of industries and sectors, with the likes of PayPal, Adidas, NatWest, FanDuel and Money Saving Expert to name just a few.
Our reputation as a partner determined to deliver high-quality, robust and thoughtful products has enabled us to scale to over 500 people in the last couple of years, and it is our amazing people - along with the safe, supportive and friendly culture we have built - that makes CreateFuture a great place to work. Don’t just take our word for it though, we have been recognised by Best Workplaces UK multiple years in a row - across a number of categories - and our employee exit rate is astonishingly low.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM:
We work with cloud native platforms through to large scale migrations. AWS and Azure are predominately our clients’ platforms of choice but, in the future, we hope to scale out to GCP too. We deliver these clients platforms via small agile teams or you could be working solo depending on the size/scale of the client project. Our CI/CD infrastructure varies with what makes sense — we have to balance customer requirements with making sure we have the right languages, frameworks and tools for the job and you will be an integral part of influencing these choices of technology.
Our Engineering team at CreateFuture drive forward technology strategies, they also contribute to planning sessions and help to map out delivery roadmaps.
We care about hiring great people who want to make meaningful contributions. It’s important to us that we support and help each other, pushing colleagues to work hard and improve. We value everyone’s unique input and skills: software engineers, cloud engineers, testers, product owners, delivery leads and designers all collaborate as equals on every project. That collaboration and teamwork is what helps us deliver innovative, exciting products for our clients.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Providing advice and guidance to your team and clients on Cloud technologies
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code
- Build pipelines including blue/green deployments and working with different pipeline tools and automating where required
- Implementing security by design when coding via IAC and building a pipeline
- Advising different ways to integrate into other systems whether on-premises or to other cloud platforms
- Creating documentation that allows the clients to understand what has been implemented
- Assisting the Cloud team in building standard solutions we can offer our clients
