POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with over 10 years of experience in programming, scripting and CI/CD engineering. This role demands expertise in multi-cloud environments, specifically GCP, Azure & AWS and proficiency in GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, GitOps, Python & Golang.
The ideal candidate will have experience across various business domains such as finance/banking, e-commerce, multimedia and healthcare.

MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Expert in GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, GitOps, Python and Golang.
  • Expert in version control tools like Git, GitLab and Bitbucket
  • Proficient in Azure and AWS cloud
  • Strong experience in Agile and Scrum practices
  • Proven leadership, ownership and training skills in technical and non-technical functional areas

7.Knowledge Sharing:

  • Conduct coaching and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill team members
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and continuously seek to improve skill

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Cloud Engineering:

  • Design, implement and maintain cloud-based solutions across GCP, Azure and AWS
  • Create, maintain and support GCP and Terraform infrastructure automation
  • Ensure cloud-enabled applications follow best practices for security, scalability, load balancing and DR

2.CI/CD and DevOps:

  • Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps tools
  • Identify opportunities for automation and enhance cloud solutions with a DevOps mindset

3.Kubernetes Management:

  • Deploy, manage, scale and optimise containerized applications using Kubernetes environments for performance and scalability

4.Solution Design:

  • Architect and design scalable, reliable and secure solutions that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

5.Programming and Scripting:

  • Develop applications using Python and Golang to support application requirements

6.Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
  • Conduct technical interviews and provide guidance on best practices and emerging technologies
  • Implement agile methodologies and serve as a Scrum Master to ensure efficient project delivery

7.Knowledge Sharing:

  • Conduct coaching and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill team members
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and continuously seek to improve skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand the current delivery process, tools and techniques and improve them through a DevOps mindset
  • Identify opportunities for automation and create solution designs to adopt and enhance cloud solutions with seamless implementation
  • Create, maintain and support GCP and Terraform infrastructure with ServiceNow integration and automation
  • Adopt GCP best practices for cloud-enabled applications, providing security, scalability, load balancing and disaster recovery
  • Develop applications using Python and Golang to support application requirements
  • Analyze and develop capacity plans for future infrastructure needs
  • Adopt CI/CD cycles to automate the build and deployment process
  • Provide ongoing support (including on-call) for cloud-based applications and infrastructure
    Salary Range: >$100,000
