Join SAP’s Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID), which offer cloud-based products and services to customers all around the world. We oversee SAP’s cloud infrastructure, with responsibilities including capacity, architecture, cloud oversight at hyperscaler level, and security. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you’ll be part of a global team responsible for keeping the SAP Business Technology Platform up and running 24x7.
On the job, you’ll have two roles: Incident Manager and Software Developer.
As an Incident Manager, you’ll respond to alerts from platform monitors and lead SAP’s major incident management response, working closely with platform service and cloud infrastructure teams to restore service, while keeping impacted teams and customers informed throughout the process.
As a Software Developer, you’ll help design and build tools that enable you and your teammates to perform the role of Incident Manager as efficiently and effectively as possible.
