Responsibilities:

SOME OF THE GREAT THINGS YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Cloud Security Tool Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of cloud-based security tools, such as Privileged Access Management, patching, threat detection and ransomware protection.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity and Engineering teams to help deploy and configure security tools or services that help meet their or the businesses requirements.
  • Compliance and Governance: Conduct regular audits and assessments of cloud security tool findings, relating to the team’s area of accountability, to ensure continuous compliance and address any identified gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay current with the latest cloud trends and tools, evaluating new technologies and methods to enhance the organization’s cloud security posture. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of our cloud processes and toolsets, proactively identifying and implementing enhancements to meet evolving business and security needs.
  • Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other cloud engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Project Management: Ability to lead cloud projects, manage timelines, and oversee deliverables, ensuring efficient implementation of cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
