KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong expertise in Azure cloud operations and administration.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Datadog, Azure Monitor).
• Proficiency in incident response and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability management, and remediation.
• Hands-on experience with backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior CloudOps Engineer is responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and performance. This role focuses on operational support, incident response, and system resilience within an Azure environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Level 3 support for cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting escalated issues.
• Monitor cloud environments using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Azure Monitor.
• Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform security vulnerability remediation and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Manage patching and system updates to maintain infrastructure integrity.
• Support cloud operations during business hours, ensuring quick response times.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance cloud reliability and performance.
