Work Location: Regina Head Office. This role is eligible for hybrid – this means you’ll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office (in Regina) on a scheduled rotation once training requirements have been met. Until then, the successful incumbent will be expected to work on-site, full-time.
This is a technical role which includes but is not limited to the administration of SharePoint, Exchange, Teams and Power Platform.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Consults with corporate stakeholders on the alignment of SGI’s collaboration tool capabilities with corporate standards and policies and provides input as needed.
- Supports the architecture, design, and implementation of all collaboration platforms and environments in alignment with corporate policies and standards.
- Documents system design, test cases, and production changes for the collaboration platform.
- Implements system design changes to collaboration environment.
- Documents and implements new collaboration tools.
- Develops complex integrations between various collaboration platforms.
- Solves business problems and increases collaborations and access to data using O365 products and other collaboration tools.
- Participates in infrastructure projects that may affect collaboration application systems to assess impact and ensure operational stability.
- Maintains and develops the day-to-day operations of collaboration solutions, including voice, video, chat, and file sharing.
- Identifies and understands activities that can be automated, including interdependencies between various solutions and systems.
- Analyzes, designs, and implements strategy for continuous deployment while ensuring high availability on production and pre-production systems.
- Validates the successful outcome of process and workflow automation.
- Develops training material and trains and mentors less experienced personnel; reviews the work of others for conformance to established technical procedures.
- Develops and evaluates monitoring solutions for collaboration services.
- Recommends and develops solutions for enterprise requirements.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

- Proficient knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
- Proficient knowledge of IT systems development life cycle and implementation.
- Proficient knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- Four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study, such as Information Technology, Mathematics & Applied Science, or defined equivalency.
EXPERIENCE
- 3 – 5 years’ experience supporting a collaboration software environment.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Senior Collaboration Administrator is responsible to develop and implement governance and information architecture plans for all collaboration platforms and environments. This includes producing technology design and specifications at a detailed level, designing test plans from an integrated perspective, executing the tests, contributing to the deployment plan, and ensuring the successful installation of the integrated technologies. The position interfaces with other technology teams, the business, and vendors, ensuring compliance with IT standards to achieve a streamlined and robust collaboration platform for end users. Participates in standby rotation and/or callback incidents as assigned.
