DESCRIPTION

The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join our New Zealand Distribution team. In this pivotal role, you will partner with our Commercial Manager to provide robust financial analytics and deep insights into financial performance of the business. You will also develop, plan and execute strategic analytics; provide insightful financial and non-financial analyses; support decision-making; and contribute to the achievement of our business’ current & long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support decision-making and business planning
  • Implement new Business Intelligence tools & processes to support providing meaningful insights
  • Track the effectiveness of implemented strategies, utilising KPIs to evaluate outcomes and suggesting adjustments as required
  • Improve and maintain a structured forecasting & budgeting tool to help complete monthly/ full-year forecasts. Ensure outcomes are clear and potential issues are identified
  • Develop strong and effective stakeholder relationships to ensure business objectives are achieved
  • Proactively identify value-adding initiatives & undertake ad-hoc projects as required by the business
