Description:
This position is for PaxOcean Group, a company under Kuok Group Singapore.
This role is for Onshore and Offshore Modules business related to module construction including but not limited to marketing initiatives, commercial enquiry review / follow-up, project management / execution and any other related tasks that is deemed relevant and necessary.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile of customer enquiries, tenders and/ or RFQs and follow through according to customer’s specifications and requirements.
- Produce Excel Model for price/ cost analysis.
- Interpret the technical specifications/ requirements/ engineering drawings and prepare commercial proposal/ bid for submission through coordination with various stakeholder in the Shipyard.
- Compile Pre-qualifications and clarifications between customer and Company.
- Monitor and ensure various datelines by customer are strictly follow.
- Support Project Management during project execution on cost estimate of variation orders and billing to customer.
- Maintain and cultivate good relationship with existing and potential associates/customers through regular communication.
- Comply with Company’s HSE and Quality policies through participation in safety and quality initiatives.
- Work with assigned Project Planner and Project Manager to plan, generate, and maintain construction schedule of assigned projects.
- Support communications between customer and internal project team.
- Gather market information from different sources to complement business forecast.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Business or Engineering field
- At least 5-8 years of relevant industry experience including a minimum of 3 years in commercial roles and in addition, preferably also with experience in module construction and project management.
- Able to read, interpret and prepare applicable technical / commercial information including proposal, Engineering Drawings and suggest process changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results.
- Able to collaborate seamlessly across boundaries and international cultures.
- Possess commercial acumen
- Knowledge of Excel Modelling
- Has determination and initiative to independently communicate, and gather information to facilitate decision making.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and interface with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.
- Possess outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Able to travel internationally for project needs and short-term assignments.
