ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Communication and Engagement Advisor (Brand Lead) is the steward of the VSBA’s visual brand, ensuring its consistency, accessibility and effectiveness across all platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development and maintenance of the VSBA’s branding, visual identity, graphic design and style guide.
- Create content tailored for various channels and delivery methods, prioritising best practices.
- Support and mentor the team, enhancing their skills and capabilities.
- Provide strategic branding advice and guidance.
- Assist communication managers in advising and supporting the authority’s executives, ministerial advisors, and internal teams on risk assessment, issues management, communications, and content strategies using appropriate branding tools.
- Oversee externally sourced content projects, including procurement, supplier relationships, and budget management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, departments, and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive and aligned messaging.
